Building a new home or adding on to your existing one? Platter Roofing & Maintenance handles new roof installation from decking to ridge cap. We work with your general contractor or architect to coordinate scheduling, material selection, and code compliance for your Platter build.
Whether it's GAF Timberline HDZ, Owens Corning Duration, CertainTeed Landmark, or a standing seam metal system, our Platter crews install it the way the manufacturer requires. Factory-certified installation means your warranty is fully backed from day one.
Our New Roof Installation Process
Project Planning
We review your building plans, discuss material options, and calculate ventilation requirements. Roof pitch, attic space, local code amendments, and your aesthetic preferences all factor into the recommendation.
Preparation
Materials delivered and staged on-site the day before installation. Shingle pallets, underlayment rolls, flashing stock, ridge vent, and fasteners, everything confirmed against the project spec sheet.
Expert Installation
Our Platter crew installs every layer to manufacturer specifications: underlayment, ice and water shield, drip edge, starter strip, field material, hip and ridge caps, and ventilation. Every fastener placed per the manufacturer nailing schedule.
Final Inspection
We schedule the building inspection and walk the roof with the inspector. Your manufacturer warranty gets registered the same day the roof passes inspection. You receive warranty paperwork within a week.
